How to Create Rate Anlaysis For Excavation Step By Step Guide Click On Link Below Or On Video

Excavator Costs:

Determine the hourly rate for the excavator. This rate includes fuel, maintenance, and operator wages.

Calculate the excavation output in cubic meters per hour for the excavator. This depends on the type of soil and the capacity of the excavator bucket.

Calculate the cost per cubic meter of excavation for the excavator:

Excavator Cost per m³ = (Excavator Hourly Rate) / (Excavation Output per hour)

Dumper (Truck) Costs:

Determine the hourly rate for the dumper (truck). This rate includes fuel, maintenance, and driver wages.

Calculate the carrying capacity of the dumper in cubic meters.

Calculate the cost per cubic meter of hauling for the dumper:

Dumper Cost per m³ = (Dumper Hourly Rate) / (Dumper Carrying Capacity)

Labor Costs:

Calculate the labor cost per cubic meter for manual excavation. This includes wages, benefits, and overheads for laborers.

For mechanical excavation (using the excavator), labor costs are typically included in the excavator hourly rate.
